Compliance software for outpatient behavioral health

Your P&P manual probably has ghost policies.

ComplianceOS finds the gaps an inherited template hides: the policy that's a table-of-contents entry and nothing else, the statute copied from a program three owners ago, the citation that expired years before your last survey. Then it helps you fix them.

Built for PHP · IOP · OP · MAT programs. No credit card, no sales call.

Gap audit findingHR-014
Any employee who experiences harassment should report it to
a supervisor at their earliest convenience.
⚠ VERIFY: no designated recipient role, no timeframe, no retaliation clause.
This policy will not survive a records request.

This is a real pattern class the tool detects: a policy with a heading and nothing underneath it. One inherited template we reviewed had it in 50 of 53 HR entries.

What it catches

The failures live between the lines.

Most compliance gaps aren't dramatic. They're quiet. A heading with no body text underneath it. A state's name that never got updated. A citation nobody re-checked after the rule changed. These are the three patterns that show up most, in real reviewed manuals.

Pattern 01

Title-only policies

4.12: Workplace Violence Prevention
[ no content ]

A policy number in the table of contents with nothing written under it, invisible until someone actually opens the section.

Pattern 02

Cross-org contamination

...consistent with Fla. Stat. § 397.679
⚠ program licensed in NH, not FL

A prior owner's template, a different state's statute, still cited as if it were current law in yours.

Pattern 03

Stale citations

Consent for release under 42 CFR Part 2 (pre-2024)
⚠ superseded by the SAMHSA alignment rule

Regulations move. A manual drafted three years ago is quoting a rule that's since been rewritten.

“I built this because I had to rebuild our own manual by hand, line by line, statute by statute, after inheriting one that was mostly title pages.”Founder, ComplianceOS · operates a licensed outpatient program in New Hampshire

Why this exists

  • ComplianceOS started as one operator's own compliance rebuild, not a template licensed from a vendor who's never run a program.
  • Every pattern it looks for came from an actual finding, not a hypothetical checklist.
  • It never rewrites a policy silently. Anything jurisdiction-specific or numeric gets flagged for a human to confirm. That's the same discipline we used on our own manual.
  • Every generated policy is marked DRAFT until someone adopts it, and nothing is legal advice, yours or ours. Route it through licensed counsel before you rely on it.

The system

Four tools, one manual.

Everything feeds the same living document: your organization's actual policies and procedures manual, not a static template you download once and forget.

01

Gap audit

Upload your existing manual. Get a findings report scored against Joint Commission BHC standards and your state's requirements, categorized by risk, never rewritten without your say.

02

Policy library & generator

24 templates across governance, HR, clinical, medication management, environment of care, and emergency operations, merged with your organization's real details.

⚠ VERIFY: confirm current DEA registration for buprenorphine prescribing before adoption.
03

Intake form optimizer

Upload your existing intake paperwork. Find the same demographic field asked four different ways across four different forms, and consolidate it into one.

04

Compliance calendar

License renewals, staff credential expirations, required trainings, and policy review cycles, with reminders at 90, 30, and 7 days, not a spreadsheet someone forgot to open.

Stop finding out about the gaps during survey week.
